Oxygen should readily dissolve into the water so that Triops can breathe oxygen with ease. To ensure maximum intake of oxygen, the water surface should have sufficient area. Triops don’t need too much air however since it’s a living creature, it still needs air. Because of this, it’s not good to use a narrow and tall container because oxygen can’t dissolve easily.
Use wide neck containers instead. The aquarium tanks are among the best options available to you. If you don’t have any, you can use other suitable containers.
