You can also put daphnia and fairy shrimp inside the container. When there is enough food inside the container, the Triops won’t eat the fairy shrimps but the daphnia can be wiped out since they are bite-size for the Triops. You can also put aquatic snails and these can control the algae found in the container. You can try the Golden Apple Snail.
